Artist / Artisan

John “Jack” McCulley (he/him , they/them, we/y’all) is a Floridian communalist, political philosopher, tradesman, craftsman, minister, mariner, photographer, and drone pilot. A militant pacifist and devoted panthiest, Jack formulated and developed his theory of mixed media art creation alongside years of different trades. Drawing inspiration from social ecology and anarchist, libertarian socialist, and ecological thought, he hopes to one day unite the systems of social healing in his mind with the patterns and melodies of form he discovers while sculpting, painting, and editing all manner of media. He has worked with acrylic, aluminum, wood, concrete, polymer clay, granite, sound design, acting, and stagecraft. He seeks to explore new media and skills while finding fun, friends, and funding with his current talents.
